This blog is about one of the most mysterious caves of Ajanta and Ellora. The caves of Ajanta and Ellora are surrounded by a dense forest and these caves are 106 km away from Aurangabad city of Maharashtra and are at an altitude of 35 to 110 feet above the river bank.

Ajanta and Ellora caves are one of the oldest caves and the art in the cave is made by cutting 29 rocks of a very big mountain and they are made with very beautiful sculptures of Lord Buddha and beautiful paintings are done in every cave and here 12 Buddhism 17 Hinduism and five Jainism caves are built and these caves are in the vicinity and also reflect the ancient civilization.
There are two gates also in the cave and through the gateway, one can enter the hall and there is a very large room. There are many rooms in this room and in each room, there are written stories of Buddhism and pictures on the roofs.
Ajanta and Ellora's Caves initially started Ajanta and Ellora's first cave in the second and first century and started during Gupta Raje's tenure and continued till the fifth and sixth century and many Hindu kings came and went but the work of Ajanta and Ellora caves continued and not only Ajanta Ellora caves are famous in India but also in abroad. There are numerous paintings here that people come from abroad to see and it is one of the famous tourist spots. - Visit the Kailasa Temple at Ellora, a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, which is made from a single piece of rock. The structure is adorned with intricately carved panels and huge pillars that stand at the entrance.
- Admire the Buddhist caves at Ellora, which are mostly monasteries that house shrines with paintings and sculptures of the Buddha.
- The Grishneshwar Temple in Ellora is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, made out of red rock. It is located about 500 meters from Ellora and is an ancient and popular pilgrimage site.
- Trek up to the Daulatabad Fort, spread across a hill 14 kilometers from Aurangabad
- Plan your visit to coincide with the Ajanta and Ellora Festival, an annual dance and music festival held in November.
- Shop at the open-air markets near the caves that deal in handicrafts, ornaments, paintings, and sculptures.
